A Celebration of Recovery, Creativity, and Mental Health

2014 AUP Graphic

Art Uniting People – A Celebration of Recovery, Creativity and Mental Health exhibition is presented and sponsored by the Anti-Stigma HOPE Campaign each spring during National Mental Health Month. This exhibition is held to reduce stigma and foster understanding. It is an art exhibition dedicated to making a difference. It seeks to engage the Alexandria community in a conversation about each person’s uniqueness and the commonality we all share.

Calling all artists!

Artists whose lives have been affected by mental illness, addiction, developmental and intellectual disorders are invited to participate. Artists may enter two 2-dimensional works of art (for example: oils, chalk, acrylic, watercolors, photography, poems, collages, mixed media, and digital photography).
